Embark on an unforgettable King Crab Safari! Put on a dry suit and dive into the unique world of the Barents Sea. During the safari, you will learn about king crab fishing, experience the atmosphere of the Arctic Ocean, and enjoy fresh king crab delicacies.

The king crab is one of the Arctic’s most famous delicacies. The largest king crab ever caught in the Varanger Fjord weighed as much as 14 kilograms and had a span of nearly 2 meters.

Safaris usually depart from the coastal Sami village of Nesseby, where guests board a fishing vessel and head out into the Varanger Fjord to check crab traps, admire spectacular Arctic scenery, and enjoy freshly prepared king crab.

During the trip, you may also have the opportunity to fish for Arctic species such as cod, haddock, saithe, wolffish, halibut, and other fish of the Barents Sea. All fishing equipment is included.
